ULTRAFINE POWDER COLLECTOR

PURPOSE:To separate and collect ultrafine powder such as ceramics with high collecting efficiency by sucking gas contg. ultrafine powder with an ejector using pressurized liquid and passing it through a stationary type mixer and thereafter feeding it to a gas-liquid separating tank. CONSTITUTION:The outlet of a gas generator 1 incorporating ultrafine powder of tungsten is connected to an ejector 7 via a connecting pipe 5. Pressurized liquid is introduced into the ejector 7 through an introduction port 8 and the outlet is connected to the inlet of a stationary type mixer 12. The stationary type mixer 12 is provided with a built-in helical element 13 and the outlet of the mixer 12 is connected to a gas-liquid separating tank 14. In the gas-liquid separating tank 14, a mist trap 15 is set to the upper part and the outlet 16 of liquid is set to the lower part and a cooler 17 is set in the tank 14. The outlet 16 of liquid is connected to a pump 18 via a pipeline and thereby pressurized liquid is fed to the ejector 7. Therefore ultrafine powder can be collected without giving pressure fluctuation to the gas generator incorporating ultrafine powder.
