PURPOSE:To have no necessity for making a long cord to stretch between a headphone and a TV receiver by providing a TV sound signal receiving system in a remote controller. CONSTITUTION:A tuner 11, a sound signal demodulating circuit 21 and a sound signal amplifying circuit 12 constitute a TV sound signal receiver 6. When the TV sound signal receiving system is provided in the remote controller 5, if the TV receiver 1 is remotely controlled, operated and viewed, not the TV sound signal from a sound signal demodulating circuit 20 in the TV receiver 1 but the TV sound signal from the TV sound signal receiver 6 in the remote controller 5 can be heard by the headphone 10. Thereby, it is not necessary to make the cord 9 to stretch long between the headphone 10 and the TV receiver 1 nor the distance from a viewer to the TV receiver 1 is limited by the length of the cord 9 of the headphone 10 while the remote control operation of the TV receiver 1 can be attained. |
