The clutch with a spring plate is particularly for automotive use, having an annular cover fixed at the periphery to a flywheel, and turning with a pressure plate. An annular spring plate formes a Belleville washer acting against the pressure plate and has internal radial fingers engaged by the withdrawal thrust bearing' being spring-loaded against a primary support on the cover so as to hinge on the latter' with the aid of a coupling device. The latter comprises flat thin tongues integral with the cover and with axial and radial portions together forming recesses for an elastic holder member comprising a secondary support for the spring plate opposite the primary one. The axial portion (24) of each tongue (23) has a retaining portion (29)' against which the holder member bears (27), while the radial portion (25) is bent over so as to secure this member between the retaining portion and the recess (26). |
