<p>The switching control has a measuring pipe (5) in an auxiliary connection to the evaporator (1) which responds to a variation in the vol. of air flowing through the evaporator (1), indicating that it is icing-up. The measuring pipe (5) has a pressure monitor (8) inserted within it, to lie intermediate both ends (6,6'). The pressure monitor (8) is coupled to a press.meter (9) which operates the thawing device when a preset pressure threshold is reached. Pref.the anmonitor (8) has opening facing the flow (2) delivered by the evaporator fan (4), the measuring pipe (5) extending through the evaporator (1) itself and extending beyond it on either side.</p> |
