METHOD FOR INJECTION MOLDING A COMPOSITE PARISON

A method for injection moulding of a composite parison comprises injecting molten resin into a cavity formed by cooperating mould parts to mould an outer neck portion of the parison and transporting the outer layer still in contact with the corresponding mould part to a second moulding station. Male and female parison forming moulds for forming the main parison portion are brought together at the second station to clamp the mould part holding the previsously formed outer neck portion to form a continuous cavity. Molten resin is injected into the continuous cavity to mould the main parison including an inner neck portion.
