发明名称 BACKLIGHT STRUCTURE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate uneven luminance and to obtain a uniform and distinct image by providing a crease-like or crimp-like rugged part on the reflecting surface of a parabola-like or pseudo parabola-like backlight reflecting plate. CONSTITUTION:A direct light 16a which is emitted from a backlight 2 and radiated to a liquid crystal display device 1 through a direct diffusion plate 4 generates a difference in its brightness in the vicinity of the backlight 2 and at the outside thereof and becomes an uneven luminance, therefore, other light than the direct light 16a emitted from the backlight 2 is reflected and radiated as a reflected light 16b to the liquid crystal display device 1 by a reflecting plate 3. Also, the reflecting plate 3 is provided with a crease-like or crimp-like rugged reflecting surface 32 and a parabola or pseudo parabola-like specular reflecting surface 3b, and in the center part where the interference of light is generated by light beams emitted from two pieces of light sources of the backlight 2, the light is diffused and reflected by the uneven reflecting surface 3a and a uniform light is reflected and projected to the liquid crystal display device 1, and at the outside where the interference of light is scarcely generated, the light is reflected and projected uniformly to the liquid crystal display device 1 by the specular reflecting surface 3a, by which a uniform and distinct screen being free from an uneven luminance can be reflected.
