<p>A synthetic profile of PVC which together with a profile of aluminium forms a roller shutter bar for assembly into a door, extends over the height of the bar. The design is such that the connecting zone of adjacent bars is covered by tbe upper and/or the lower edge zone of the PVC profile, and the cavity between tbe two profiles is filled with polyurethane foam. The profiles are connected by one or more "T"-form ribs on the inner surface of the metal or the PVC component, and slot rails with a "C"-form. The profiles slide into each other lengthways and the bottom hooked edge of the synthetic profile forms a hinge by engaging with a hook along the top edge of the metal profile. The arrangement provides an improved heat insulation as well as a suitable connection between tbe components of tbe shutter.</p> |
