<p>The heating flange has several different resistance heating elements connected together at one end and connected to switches at the other end. The switches connect the resistance elements to the single or three phase a.c. mains supply. Two pairs of resistance elements (R1,R2, and R3,R4) of identical power output are provided. One pair (R3,R4) gives twice the heating power of the other. One pair is connected to a switch that connects its elements in parallel or separates them. One connection of this switch (6) is connected to one phase (R). The other pair is connected by a switch (34) either to the other phases (S,t) or to the same phase or disconnected.</p> |
