PURPOSE:To obtain a composition for oral cavity useful for treating and remedying periodontal diseases such as gingivitis, showing excellent enhancing effects on blood vessel, containing vitamin K2 and/or histidine hydrochloride as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:One or more active ingredients selected from vitamin K2 and histidine hydrochloride are mixed with other well-known components and pharmaceutically manufactured by a conventional procedure to give the aimed substance. The content of vitamin K2 is preferably 0.0001-10wt.% and the content of histidine hydrochloride is preferably 0.0001-10wt.%. The substance is made into a dosage form such as toothpaste, powder dentifrice, liquid dentifrice, mouth washing agent, ointment, cream, paste, troche, chewing gum, plaster. The substance improves fragile periodontal texture and enhances resistance of texture to physical irritation. |
