Sieve machine with inclined faces and low structural height - has two vibration generators ensuring adequate movement of particles without clogging mesh

The woven sieve face (3) is clamped in a screen frame which has an inlet and outlet arranged at a smaller incline than the angle of repose of the bulk material being screened. The entire sieve machine is suspended for resilient movement by cables (14) and helical springs (15) whereby the effective length of the cables can be altered to produce the required incline of the sieve face(s) (2,3). The sieve frame (1) carries at least one vibration generator and at least one further vibrator (10) which strikes at least the centre of gravity of the frame and acts inclined up towards the outlet (9) for the oversize. During sifting the parts are first exposed as they move over the screen face to a micro projection movement wherein the drive direction is determined by the active direction of the second vibrator. The particles break up during the projection from the sieve face when the acceleration of the particles exerted by the second vibrator is greater than the acceleration of descent.
