Measuring lorry load wt. without fixed weighbridge - using hydraulic cylinders raising chassis w.r.t. suspension and measuring pressure

The hydraulic system for determining the load wt. of lorries eliminates the time-consuming procedure of driving the vehicle being weighed to a fixed lorry weighbridge and enables weighing to take place almost anywhere. Cylinders placed between the chassis and axles of the vehicle enable the chassis to be lifted off the suspension. A pressure measurement device placed between the input pipe between the pressure control valve and the pressure source is calibrated in units of wt. Double-action cylinders are used. They are connected to the control valve via a return pipe as well as the input pipe. The hydraulic reservoir is connected to the control valve via the pump and directly via the return pipe.
