The compounds of formula A having antiinflammatory and/or analgesic and/or central nervous system depressive action correspond to the formula shown opposite, where R denotes phenyl, phenyl monosubstituted by halogen, trifluoromethyl, nitro or methyl, or phenyl disubstituted by halogen, methyl or halomethyl, and R' denotes lower alkyl, propenyl, propargyl, cyclopropylmethyl, trifluoroethyl, methoxymethyl, ethoxyethyl, hydroxyethyl, chloroethyl or acetoxyethyl. The compounds are obtained by introduction of the residue R' into 1-R-4-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine. <IMAGE>
