<p>A foil strip, made of Al to act as a decorative neck cover and as a mask for the cap of bottles such as beer bottles, carries on the inside towards the glass a paper lining for easier detachment during the washing process. To prevent the hot washing liquor from contamination by the Al, the foil is coated on both sides by a liquor-proof lining, pref. a PVC lacquer. The preferred rate for the application of this lacquer is 2 g per square m. The liquor can thus be used for longer periods and causes less trouble for the drainage system.</p> |
