The railway line is divided in individual sections, and the data transmission between the train, or its cars, and a stationary control office is carried out along the railway line via subsequent line loop sections, supplying feed installations with alternating current. These loops provide inductive couplings to the receivers on the train, or its vehicles. The line conductor loops are series interconnected by couplers. The loop group, thus formed is fed almost in rigid phase by several supply elements. The supply of which loop group takes place from a single point only, and the free ends of the group are closed by a wave resistor (ZL1-ZL4). Transformers (T4-T7) are pref. used as couplers whose coil centre taps are connected to a common potential, e.g. rail potential. With certain types of transformers capacitors (C) may be used on either side.
