The pressure-operated ram has limit switches on the outside of the cylinder, adjustable in the axial direction and actuated by the piston. These operate a valve controlling the supply of the operating medium so as to reverse piston movement. The switches (18) are guided on a rail-type mounting (14) integral with the cylinder (10), while on the ouside of the latter is a flat (30) extending for part at least of its length and to which the control valve (20) is fixed. Passages (16,17) are formed in the cylinder for the operating medium to and from the valve. |
