PURPOSE:To prevent the card from staying at the area near the card reception slit when the carrier path is opened, by providing the mobile plate so that the upper part of the mobile plate may be nearly parallel to the fixed plate in the state under which the conveyer carries the card. CONSTITUTION:Card reception slit 3 is provided at the upper end area of card reader 1 to accept card 2 inside. When the action of reader 1 stops and then rocks in the direction where mobile plate 6 becomes apart from fixed plate 5, the center part of lever 34 is also shifted in the same direction as the rocking way of plate 6. As a result, lever 34 starts rotations in the energizing direction of spring 36 and continues the rotations until hook part 37 is regulated for its rotation via stopper 38. And the center part continues the shift according to the rocking of plate 6 although the rotation of the other end is regulated. As a result, one end of lever 34 shifts into the opposite direction to the energizing direction of spring 36. Thus reception slit roller 32 is separated from belt 10, and accordingly roller 32 never presses card 2 to belt 10. |
