1. Device for controlling the drive of the cylinders of a printing machine using the offset process, comprising a pair of blanket cylinders C1,2) each associated with a plate cylinder (3, 4) and with an assembly of inking rollers, the said cylinders bearing on one another by means of running strips located at their ends for maintaining the interaxial distances, each being driven by means of spur wheels, each plate cylinder (3) (4) carrying two coupled wheels wedged at the end of shafts, respectively an inner wheel (31) (41) which engages with a wheel (11) (21) for driving the corresponding blanket cylinder (1) (2), wedged on the shaft of the latter and an outer wheel (32) (42) receiving the drive movement, the two outer wheels (32) (42) being connected to one another by two intermediate wheels (12) (22) engaging in one another, characterized in that the two intermediate wheels (12) (22) are each centred respectively on the shaft (10) (20) of one of the blanket cylinders (1) (2) next to the drive wheel (11) (21) for the latter, each of the said intermediate wheels (12) (22) being mounted so as to rotate freely on the shaft (10) (20) which carries it.
