Production of moisturizing component for cosmetic composition from skim milk

摘要

A method for preparing a clear colourless moisturizing component for a cosmetic composition comprises the steps of effecting lactic acid and casein hydrolysate formation simultaneously in skim milk by lactic acid bacteria and proteases and, subsequently, effecting simultaneously sterilization of the lactic acid bacteria and inactivation of the proteolytic enzyme in the product thereby produced.
