PURPOSE:To detect a start timing of an information data easily and accurately by supplying a demodulation data to a pattern discrimination means such as a matching filter to detect the start timing of the information data from an output pulse when the pattern is coincident with a prescribed discrimination pattern. CONSTITUTION:When a reception operating start pulse is outputted from an external circuit, a reference PN code generator 5 feeds a reference PN code H included in a reference signal to a correlation device 1 based on initial information C of the PN code set by an external circuit. On the other hand, when a spread spectrum signal is received, a reception PN code included in the reception signal B is fed to the correlation device 1. The initial synchronization and its holding of the received PN code and the reference PN code are applied to the correlation device 1, then a binary data demodulation circuit 9 applies accurate data demodulation. The demodulated data is supplied to a 2nd matching circuit 10, where the presence of coincidence with a prescribed pattern is discriminated and in case of coincidence, a pulse M is outputted from the matching circuit 10 and the external circuit can detect the start timing of the demodulated data by using the pulse. |
