PURPOSE:To obtain a stationery output, stop the supply of water when an engine is not in operation and prevent occurrence of trouble due to the freezing, by adjusting a proportion of water injected with fuel in accordance with a load applied to the diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:In a casing 17 of a fuel injection pump, plungers 14, 19 that are driven by a cam shaft 11 make a sliding motion of deliver fuel from a route line 20 to an injection valve not shown in the drawing. To the plunger 19 a rocking lever 22 is attached, and into a long hole of the lever 22 a pin 23 fixed to a rod 32 is engaged. Then the pin 23 is shifted in accordance with a load to change a stroke of the lever 22. Further to the lever 22 a water injection pump 33 consisting of a diaphragm 25 is engaged to feed pressurized water to a combustion chamber through delivery valves 28, 29. |
