PURPOSE:To accurately convey pallets without pollution nor vibration by conveying them by means of static air pressure floating. CONSTITUTION:Pellets 2A,... are sequentialy transferred via units 23, 22 from a tray 20 to a tray 21 under the control of air cylinders 24-27. An opening 28 is perforated, and a stopper 29 is provided at the lower portion of the tray at every working stage, for various controls in the operation. The conveyor gate 30 prevents entrance of two or more pallets, and the unit 2A conveys the finished pallet. A motor 11 and pulleys 12 are rotatable around a shaft 14, a belt 16 is introduced into the side surface of the tray 1 via a spring 15, and the pallet 2 floated by static air pressure is conveyed in a direction C in the tray 1 by the control rotation of the motor 11. The nozzles provided at the tray or pallet are inclined toward the conveying direction or the tray is inclined to be moved. Since this construction is more simple than the chain conveyor with no friction, when the tray is slightly inclined, the pallet may be moved by itself, and may also be moved along one side so as to accurately convey the pallet. |
