PURPOSE:To improve image quality and brightness as well as raise secondary electron arresting effect of a direct viewing storage tube by providing bridges in the framework portion of a conductive membrane serving as a collector electrode. CONSTITUTION:In the first comblike conductive membrane 14, the framework portions 14a, 14b, 14c..., corresponding to the comb teeth, are provided with the bridges 14a', 14a'', 14a''', 14b', 14b'', 14b''', and 14c', 14c'', 14c''', having a width W3 more than two times the line width W2 of the framework portion, which are formed in a ladder shape. Even in the second comblike conductive membrane 15, the framework portions 15a, 15b, 15c..., corresponding to the comb teeth, are provided with the bridges 15a', 15a'', 15a''', 15b', 15b'', 15b''', and 15c', 15c'', 15c''', having a width W3 more than two times the line width W2 of the framework portion. |
