According to the invention, the plastic seals provided for moisture-proofing in tunnels for competent rock are arranged on the rock by means of fasteners and a wire fabric or the like, in which arrangement the fasteners are passed around a wire as strips of material, discs or plates and can be welded on both sides of the wire to the seal.
