PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy collation between the subscriber number and the cable pair, by securing a connection between the subscriber cable pair concerning the subscriber number and the cable pair discriminator via the subscriber number dialing through the telephone and then detecting the searcher through the discriminator. CONSTITUTION:Cable pair discriminator CPIE possessing the terminals of the calling and called subscriber sides is stored into channel switch SW of the telephone exchange. The call given from telephone TEL of subscriber cable pair terminals EO-En is applied to originating register OR via switch SW to produce the dial tone. When the special number is dialed through TEL, marker MKR is started. And CPIE is selected and caught via the special number, and then the closure is given with channel L1 between calling side terminal T1 of CPIE and terminals EO- En. Furthermore, MKR is started when incoming register IR reveives the called number, and receiver RCV between the called side terminal T2 of CPIE and terminals EO-En is closed with channel L2. |
