PURPOSE:To absorb phase turning of the orthogonal polarization interference component due to the phase difference of the common carrier frequency before interference of the common carrier frequency before interference compensation and then realize the highly efficient system designing, by regenerating the interference component of the orthogonal polarization receiving wave and then piling it onto the corresponding detection output. CONSTITUTION:Synchronous detector 80 corresponding to the 1st polarized wave input signal includes multiplier 720, reference carrier oscillator 722 and LPF721; and synchronous detector 81 corresponding to the 2nd polarized wave input signal includes multiplier 730, reference carrier oscillator 732 and LPF731 each. The output of each detector is supplied to reference component regenerator 82, and at the same time the beats of the carrier frequencies of the 1st and 2nd polarized waves are obtained by multiplier 770 and LPF771. This beat plus the output of detector 81 are applied to double-balanced mixer 772, and the output of mixer 772 is supplied to filter 4,000 in order to erase the polarization interference component of the output of detector 80. Also the interference component to the 2nd polarized wave is regenerated 774 and 773 to be applied to filter 4,000', and the interference component of the output of detector 81 is absorbed. |
