<p>The pumping system uses a fluid easily vapourised in a closed circuit between an evaporator and a condenser. The evaporator is a solar panel. The vapour passes into a double acting alternating engine which has two working chambers in circuit with the evaporator and condenser. A distributor tilts at the end of each stroke and passes, in liquid form, from condenser to evaporator by an engine driven feed pump. The chambers are separated by a membrane and can be filled with water which is lifted by pipe as desired.</p> |
