Gutter profile segments overlap in peripherally resilient gallery support systems in a mine and have their resistance determined by a clamping device. The inward curved end section (21) of the clamping loop shackle (13), facing a hook-shaped attachment (14), has an additional two-armed pressure lever (25) in it, on a tilting mounting. This engages below the bottom flange edge (19) of a segment (8) in a pair, with an advance clamping protuberance (29) forming a hinge. The bottom of the protuberance has a sliding and tilting support on a sloping face (23) rising towards the flange (17). The lever has a threaded hole (27) to accommodate the pressure screw (32) which has its open end pressing against an abutment on the loop shackle. When the functional division established between the connection of segments and thrust resistance, the clamping device permits precise individual recognition of specific operative needs.
