Divided flow turbine stage - has separate guide discs in two chambers leading to bleed-off connections

An efficient turbine with bleed-off and operating at different loads has stages with divided flow of the medium using two spaces and a non-return valve as an additional regulating unit. The spaces (8,9) for the two streams (6,7) may be equal or different and located upstream of the bleed-off connections (10,11). One stream (6) is directed by a guide disc (3) while the remaining part of the medium forms stream (7) controlled by guide disc (4).
