PURPOSE:To enable the focusing even to the subject portion deviated from the central part of the image plane by stopping the driving of the taking lens corresponding to the signal of an automatic focus detector after the focusing state of the taking lens for the central part of the subject field breaks, even if it occurs, when a manual operating member is going to be operated. CONSTITUTION:The control circuit for automatic focusing is illustrated. The outputs of photodetectors 7, 8 pass through high-frequency-pass filters 39, 42, by which only the vibrating components are fetched. After these are amplified by amplifiers 40, 43, they are rectified in rectifying circuits 41, 44 and are then applied to the circuit of the bridge connected transistors 45-48 thereby driving a motor 35. The motor 35 moves a taking lens 1 forward and backward by the intermeshing with gears and stops when the outputs of the rectifiers 41, 44 becomes equal. The automatic focusing is accomplished by operating the circuit in this manner. |
