<p>The toilet pan incorporates the plumbing system to flush cleaning fluid over the top part of the pan and the seat. A back wall which is water-tight and attached to the toilet pan either subsequently or at the time of construction enables the toilet seat to be flapped up by use of a foot pedal, and sprayed with disinfectant and water. The cleaning fluid is then collected by the back wall, and conveyed into the pan. A ridge along the front edge of the toilet pan enables the cleaning fluid to pass horizontally along the toilet seat.</p> |
