The mounting accommodates a self-aligning ball- or roller bearing whose outer race has a spherical outer surface. Between the outer race (6) and a cylindrical bearing bore (2) an elastic sleeve (3) of plastic is inserted, cylindrical on the outside and spherical on the inside where it fits against the outer race. Protrusions (11) on the outside are radially opposite recesses (10) in its inside surface (5), so that when fitted in place, it is slightly corrugated along its periphery.
