The fireplace comprises a jacketed casing (1) with water flowing between the walls and through feed and return pipes (14,15) from and to a water tank acting as a heat accumulator (16). A heat exchanger (23) is mounted in the tank, and connected by feed and return pipes (24,25) to the central heating circuit. The top, back and side walls of the fireplace can be formed by jacketed sheet metal plates, divided internally into a number of passages, while the grate bars are tubes (6) through which water flows into front screen tube (5) and into rear wall passages (7).
|
