Function parameter linearisation circuit using operational amplifier - having monostable multivibrator providing nonlinear feedback for compensation of nonlinearity

The circuit is used for a parameter of an output function approximately proportional to a current representing an input signal. It uses an operational amplifier (Op) within a feedback loop incorporating a monostable multivibrator (MF). This is supplied with a constant frequency clock pulse sequence and is also coupled to a capacitor charged by the output current of the operational amplifier (Op). The output of the multivibrator (MF) is coupled via an integration circuit (R,C1) to the opposite input of the operational amplifier (Op) to that receiving the input signal. Pref. a further amplifier stage (T1) is coupled between the output of the operational amplifier (Op) and the capacitor (C) coupled to the monostable multivibrator (MF).
