1486950 Current collectors ASEA AB 23 Dec 1974 [28 Dec 1973] 55395/74 Heading B7L A current collector for a rail vehicle comprises a vertically movable carrying assembly 15 which is connected to a pair of parallel plate springs 20 by a structure 21 including brackets 24 and 25 interconnected by an elastic element 26, the ends of each spring 20 at 30 being received on mountings which are connected in pairs by links 35, contact bows 17 for collecting current from a conductor 18 when assembly 15 is upwardly extended being supported by holders 37 carried by the links 35. The spring ends at 30 may each terminate in a ring surrounding a cylindrical member (33), Fig. 4 (not shown), which is connected to the link 35, the ring- shaped spring end 30 and the cylindrical member (33) being mounted for movement relative to one another by means of a cylindrical rubber element (34) disposed therebetween. Disposed between the springs 20 are a spacing element 27 and rubber elements 44 for damping movement of the contact bows 17, from which current is transmitted to the vehicle via conductors 39. |
