Pigsty with farrowing enclosure - has end supports secured to sty walls at corner and accommodating hinging sides

The farrowing cage is designed for use in a pigsty. It limits the movement of the sow so as to reduce the risk of crushing the piglets. At the end it comprises two supports, each secured by a fixing device (9,10) to a wall (1,2) near one corner of the sty (3). One or both of the supports have bearings accommodating hinging side sections (19,20) of the cage. The supports can be joined by an arched section over the top, and they can be square-section tubes drilled to accommodate mounting bolts etc.
