False ceiling with suspended panels - has electromotor lowering and raising one panel that acts as e.g. table

The false ceiling is composed of numerous panels (4) joined together and suspended by cords from the actual ceiling (2). One (or more) of the panels may form a table (4') bed or other piece of furniture and can be let down to floor level from the false ceiling. The e.g. table (4') is attached via cords (5) to a hoist fixed to the actual ceiling. The cords are paid out and wound in by an electromotor rotating two parallel rollers. Each roller winds up or pays out two cords. Switches (12) may be located on the table to disconnect the motor's supply when the table reaches the height of the false ceiling. Means other than switches on the table may also be used. Thus furniture not frequently used can be stowed away.
