<p>Tube extruder for ceramic materials, esp. tubes of pottery, consists of an extrusion cylinder supported by a frame; a conveyor worm mounted inside the cylinder, the driven shaft of which is mounted in the frame; and an extrusion die fixed to the cylinder, comprising a bell and sleeve and having a punch fixed to the worm shaft which advances to the sleeve opening. Specifically the worm shaft is provided with a continuous longitudinal central bore which accommodates a central continuous support rod. The punch is then provided at one end of this rod, while at the other end there is a stop to prevent longitudinal displacements and a torque absorber for the support shaft. The punch is maintained without the need for articulations and bearings in the extrusion die, and whatever the lengths of the tubes to be produced, without giving rise to vibrations and without the need for support from underneath.</p> |
