Vessels which are symmetrical to an axis of rotation are used for the storage separately of two volumes of fluid, which are functionally dependent upon each other. The vessels are pref. divided across the middle by membranes fixed to the container walls, so that each container has two similar chambers which are variable in volume. The geometrical layout of the vessels and the membranes are such that in the outermost position, the membranes lie closely against the container wall, whilst in all intermediate positions they float freely.
