The pump housing (1) has a central suction opening (2) which is flanged, and two spirally formed lead-in tubes (4) ending in cast flanges (4a). On the electric motor (5) side, the pump housing (1) is closed by the housing cover (6) and motor carrying flange (6a), the housing cover (6) containing the gland housing (8) and vane ring (7). The shaft (9) of the electric motor is led through the stuffing gland (8) and carries the impeller (10). The two-armed mounting frame (11) is screwed to the flanges, this frame serving as the fluid medium delivery pipe, and is stiffened by being joined together by a metal cross brace (12). The length (L) of the support frame (11) is large enough to allow the motor, housing cover, impeller and vane ring to be withdrawn for servicing in one piece. The arrangement is suitable as a turbine or inline pump.
