The container to dispense single tablets is fitted with a tablet outlet opening in the container wall below a storage chamber with a spring tensioned slider moving in front of the opening. The slider (4) orms within the area of an inner channel of two container base walls inclined in a roof shape towards each other, a side wall projecting across the channel with the slider in the bottom position. The side wall carries a side rib (14) inclined downwards towards a tablet fall through opening (15) of the slider. The side rib has a pass through opening (19) for a separating finger (18) which is located opposite to a diverting shoulder (20) extending up to the tablet pass through opening.
