PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for exact calculation by managing bundles of banknotes as well as bars of coins and loose them independently of each other with respect to amount data of cash in hand and only counting only the number of bundles, the number of bars, and loose banknotes and coins at the time of exact calculation to confirm cash in hand. CONSTITUTION:Receipt and payment of loose banknotes and coins and bundles of banknotes or bars of coins are performed by a cash processing means (teller's machine) 6, and the number of loose banknotes or coins, the number of bundles of banknotes, and the number of bars of coins which are processed by this means 6 are counted and are stored. The number of loose banknotes or coins, the number of bundles of banknotes, and the number of bars of coins which are managed on the outside of the cash processing means 6 are indicated, and indicated numbers of bundles of banknotes and bars of coins and indicated numbers of loose banknotes and coins are stored in a storage part 7 independently of each other. Thus, bundles of banknotes as well as bars of coins and loose banknotes and coins are managed independently of each other with respect to amount data of cash in hand, and only numbers of bundles of banknotes and bars of coins and numbers of loose banknotes and coins are counted to confirm cash in hand at the time of exact calculation, and the time required for exact calculation is shortened. |
