PURPOSE:To improve an answering property of control by providing an arithmetic unit operating in the lagging direction by that which corresponds to a constant crank angle at every inputs of a knocking decision signal and also operating in the leading direction while said decision signal is not inputted. CONSTITUTION:A knocking detection device comprises an oscillation sensor 1, a sensor processing unit 100, a smoothing unit 200, a comparator 300 and a knocking strength detecting unit 400. On the other hand, an ignition timing device comprises an arithmetic unit 500 operating in the lagging direction by that which corresponds to a given crank angle at every inputs of a knocking decision signal and also operating slowly in the leading direction while said decision signal is not inputted, an F/V, converting unit 600, and an equivalent leading angle controlling unit 700 reset at every inputs of an ignition command signal 4 and comparing an equivalent leading angle integrated wave form rising as high as a given level at a speed corresponding to an engine rotational speed with an output of the arithmetic unit 500, thereby obtaining a lagging angle signal corresponding to the output level. |
