PURPOSE:To make it possible to display a direct insolation quantity to make a mechanical movable part needless and facilitate maintenance and control, by scanning respective outputs of plural photodetectors, which are so arranged that normal directions of photodetecting faces may be different from one another, to extract a maximum value. CONSTITUTION:Photoelectric elements S1, S2... are fitted to semicircular band- shaped support stand 1 at an interval of angle 15 deg. in respect to normal directions of their photodetecting faces, and their electric outputs are detected individually by sweep detecting circuit 2. Element groups B and C are arranged at theta+ or -16.5 deg. in both sides of element group A, which has angle theta for the horizontal face, with element group A as the center, and outputs of photodetectors of groups A, B and C are swept and measured to obtain a maximum value, thus measuring a direct insolation quantity. |
