PURPOSE:To make a mounting position unalterable after a distributor body is mounted by mounting the distributor body on an engine case, thereby fixing a locating member solidly on a mounting plate of the distributor body. CONSTITUTION:To mount a distributor body 1 on an engine case 4, first a cylindrical part 2b of the distributor body 1 is inserted in an insertion hole 4b of the engine case 4, and a bolt 5 is fitted in a slit 2c in circular arc in this case. Next, as inserting the bolt 5 in a spherical spacer 6, a nut 7 is screwed with the bolt 5 loosely through a washer 8. Then, the distributor body 1 is turned to the engine case 4 with its cylindrical part 2b as a center, and an engine ignition time is adjusted (set) normally. The nut 7 is then clamped and the spherical spacer 6 is thrusted in a gap A between the slit 2c and the bolt 5 as deformed. Now, the distributor body 1 cannot be turned to the case 4. |
