The device comprises a thermoelectric module (1) and at least one exchanger which comprises a plate thermally connected to one face of the module (1) and serving as support for the latter, an exchange surface (6) in contact with one of the heat sources and heat transfer conduits (5) sealed at their ends and filled with a heat transfer fluid having two conditions, said conduits exhibiting a first portion (5c) thermally connected to the plate (4) and a second portion (5d) thermally associated with said heat exchange surface (6) and these two portions being disposed in relation to one another in such a manner that the movement of the liquid in the conduit takes place naturally by gravity between the two portions, so that the exchange of heat between the associated source and the module takes place only in a single direction. <IMAGE>
