The box forming a display, particularly for a perfume bottle, comprises a container with two parts (1, 2) articulated on each other about a common longitudinal axis (3) and is characterised in that each half-container has, at its lower part, a transverse horizontal wing (5, 6) engaging, in the closure position, in the other half-container, the two wings being superposed and together forming a base, in the open position, for the article housed in the box. This article is carried by a support (11) integral with a vertical spindle (12) passing through openings (8, 10) of curved shape made in the two wings of the two half-containers. The display box is used for packaging and displaying, particularly perfume bottles. <IMAGE>
