PURPOSE:To enable the reproduction of fine lines and to obtain the reproduced picture with fidelity, by determining the threshold value of noticed video element by taking consideration into the video elements around the noticed video element. CONSTITUTION:The read-in video signal is converted into digital signal with the A/D converter 2, and it is sequentially transferred to one video element shift registers 3-5, 1 line shift register 6, 1 video element shift registers 7-9, and from the register 6 to 1 line shift register 10, and 1 video element shift registers 11-13, and fed to the adder 15, and the condition of the contrasts A-H of the adjacent video elements and the contrast X of noticed video element are calculated with the peak hold level from the peak hold circuit 1, they are judged at the comparator 16 to output the processed video signal. |
