An ultra narrow enclosed motor vehicle has a chassis (2, 5) supported by road running wheels (3, 6), which includes a main section (2) pivotally connected to a subsection (5) whereby pivotal movement can take place between the two sections along a pivotal axis (8) extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A closed-in body structure mounted on one of the chassis sections (2 or 5) provides for accommodation for at least one person. The drive means for the vehicle is mounted on the other one of the chassis sections. Control means are provided for enabling variable selection of the amount and sense of relative pivotal movement between the two chassis sections.
