PURPOSE:To enable an easy replacement of a die plate in such a manner as using no bolts or the like, by a method wherein a fitting plate for a die plate and a fitting flange at the end of an extrusion cylinder are held pinched between the nips formed by wedges attached to a clamp. CONSTITUTION:An outer circumferential edge of a fitting flange 6 at the end of an extrusion cylinder 2 and an outer circumferential edge of a fitting plate 4' whereto a die plate 5 is attached, are inserted into a matching groove 9 in a clamp 9 mounted on a clamp stand 8, and both circumferential edges are firmly held between wedges 24 secured on the matching groove 7. That is, a plurarity of the die plates 5, 5 are installed through the medium of the fitting plate 4 at a die plate- supporting means 3 which can rotate horizontally, and this permits the easy replacement of the die plates by turning the supporting means 3. The use of the wedges 24 can save troubles required for tightening or untightening bolts or the like. |
