<p>The present invention relates to a simplified method for manufacturing a magnetic door catch, in which a body having right and left supports and a leg portion is moulded from a thermoplastic synthetic resin, the right and left supports being respectively provided with mounting arbors for a magnet, the supports are expanded apart so as to allow insertion of the magnet and so as to stretch fillets connecting the leg portion to the supports, and the material of the moulding is cooled so that its shrinkage pulls the supports into a position holding the magnet with the arbors entering opposite ends of a hole in the magnet.</p> |
